What’s Tea?? Sephora Microsmooth Face Powder
Don’t you strongly dislike (I dont like using the H-word lol) when a brand has introduced us to such a perfect product and then decides to take it away from us? This is what I’m currently experiencing with Sephora Microsmooth Powder! If you have watched any of my makeup content on my social platforms, then you know that I am so obsessed with this product.
However, this product has been on sale on Sephora’s website for the past few months which has caused consumers, including myself, to believe that the brand is working on selling their remaining inventory to then remove it from the market.
I have been into Sephora stores multiple times since I have observed this and have asked several beauty advisors for the tea on what’s going on with this product. Here are some of the responses that I have received:
Sephora is changing the packaging for this product, but the formula will remain the same.
Sephora will be reformulating this product.
Sephora is going to discontinue this product.
I'm unsure what to believe that Sephora is planning to do with this face powder. However, one thing that I DO know is that if you love this product, now is the perfect time to stock up! Also, if you have never tried this face powder before, I highly recommend that you purchase at lease one!
I use this face powder as a finishing step within my makeup routines to essentially marry all of the previous products I applied during my makeup application. Therefore, I use this powder in a shade that is very similar to my skintone - Toffee (65). Check out this video to see how I incorporate this face powder into my makeup routines.
These face powders are currently on sale for $10 at Sephora so they are also super affordable, especially compared to the Mac Studio Finish powder - which a lot of people said that this face powder is similar to! If your shade is out of stock or currently unavailable on Sephora’s website, you can also purchase this face powder from Kohl’s website.
