Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever Matte Powder Foundation

Sephora has introduced a new member to their “Best Skin Ever” family. If you know me, you know that I loveeeee Sephora Best Skin Ever Liquid Foundation & Sephora Best Skin Ever Concealer. Therefore, it was only right that I purchased the powder foundation to try it out. As a girl with dry, acne prone skin, I have never naturally gravitated towards powder foundations. I always thought that they would emphasize the dryness of my skin and the texture of my breakouts.

About two years ago, I tried a powder foundation for the first time when Fenty Beauty released their Pro Filt’r Soft Matte Longwear Powder Foundation. I tried it out and shared my demo & review here. However, since this powder foundation is heavily fragranced, it caused me to breakout in small bumps. Therefore, I stopped using it.

When I saw that Sephora released the Best Skin Ever Powder foundation I was intrigued because I loved the performance of the Fenty powder foundation but the ingredients did not compliment my skin well.

One of the main reasons why I love Sephora Collection’s Best Skin Ever products is because they are non-comedogenic and free of fragrances which is great for those with acne prone & sensitive skin. Also, their new powder foundation has the key ingredient of aquatic microcells from vegetal origin which claims to improve the skin’s texture. Even though it is way to early to see if this claim is true, I am interested to see how my skin reacts to this ingredient. We love a makeup product that also doubles as skincare!

Sephora Collection Best Skin Ever Matte Powder Foundation is now available on Sephora’s website & at Sephora retail stores. It retails for $20 which is super affordable compared to other powder foundations on the market. Comment & let me know if you plan on picking it up or have already tried it!
